Vicar and Oversight Minister.
Ruth Donegan-Cross
I really enjoy being the Vicar here and I feel like I am constantly discovering more about God’s love for me, and the people in our churches and the community. I am married to Guy (he is also ordained and you may see him at church on Sundays) and we have four adult children. I love all things creative, and my daily pleasures include cooking and reading a good novel.
Curate
Alison Ridge
I work alongside Ruth. I enjoy meeting new people in all sorts of contexts, but in this role particularly enjoy helping people find out more about how much God loves them, and the plans he has for their life. I am a mum to two teenage boys. I love flowers, autumn, and the colour pink!
Church Warden.
Keith Grimshaw.
I am the church warden at Christ Church Burney Lane. I have worshipped here for over thirty years. I have lots of roles, but I’m particularly valued for my work keeping the premises of the church in good order. I am married to Jane, and we have grown up children and enjoy time with our grandchildren. A fun fact about me is that I enjoy sailing, and aqua aerobics.
Church Warden.
Marilyn Dixon.
I’ve been a member of St Paul’s church since 1989,
and church warden since 2008.
I have two adult children and a Grandson. I enjoy worshipping at St Paul’s, and more importantly my role as church warden as it exposes me to in learning and loving God.
Lay Reader
Susan Partridge
My role is a voluntary one which involves helping at services and I enjoy keeping in touch with those who find it hard to regularly worship with us. I love walking and enjoying God’s nature, gardening, photography, crochet and cross stitch.
Mission Partners
Andrea and Matt Vaughan
Andrea and Matt arrived in Birmingham in 2021 after working overseas for ten years. Andrea uses her musical gifts to lead worship, helps to ensure the smooth operation of the St Paul's Church facility, and is a stunningly good cook, while Matt preaches and helps to keep the church gardens tidy. Together we work to build positive relationships with Muslims and others in our diverse local community. In our spare time we'll either be playing the piano, gardening, reading, walking in the countryside or spending time with our four wonderful children.
ABC Stay and Play
Maxine Wood
I run the ABC children’s and family work at Christ Church and ABC and Place of Welcome St Pauls. I love my job, as I meet so many local people throughout the week. I am a Brummie through and through, and when we meet, I will most likely call you Bab. Outside of work I love to be with my family-I have 4 adult children and 11 grandchildren.
Administrator
Iwona Coulson
Iwona has been working as administrator at church for several years now and she also works in a local school.
She is married to Sandy and they have 2 children. She is originally from Poland and loves returning to visit her family there whenever she can. In her spare time she works hard at keeping fit.
Treasurer Christ Church and St Margaret's.
David Thomas
I like to stay behind the scenes but enjoy helping the church manage and allocate money to do Gods work in our community and the wider world. I am married to Barbara; we have three children. We have worshipped at Christ Church for over 20 years. I enjoy reading, watching TV and sampling the wares at local coffee shops.

Jasmine Martin.
I have worshipped at St Pauls Church for over 13 years. I have a passion for numbers. I am a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA). I have been working in the NHS as a Finance Professional for over 21 years and I am the Church Treasurer (at the moment). I have a teenage daughter and enjoy socialising, helping others & cooking all types of food but specialising in Caribbean meals. I am a ‘people person’ and you def won’t feel down around me as I exhibit ‘a positive spiritual vibe’ only 😊
